We are thrilled to announce that our HERO Program has recently launched in 21 additional communities in California, making it available to a total of 11.7 million housing units in California.
With this latest group of new HERO communities, 84% of Golden State households can now use our leading PACE Program as an innovative, affordable way to choose from over 50 types of energy-efficient upgrades to their homes.
To date, HERO helped improve more than 60,000 homes across California. That’s providing more than $1.4 billion in financing and helping to create more than 12,000 jobs through these investments. As a result, almost 2.5 million tons of CO2 will be offset and nearly 4 billion gallons of water will be saved!
The newest communities we’ve partnered with include the California cities of Atherton, Brisbane, Belvedere, Crescent City, Dos Palos, Dublin, Greenfield, Gustine, King City, Mill Valley, Pinole, Santa Clara, Sacramento, Sausalito, Thousand Oaks, and Woodlake.
HERO also launched in the unincorporated California counties of Butte County, San Luis Obispo County, Yuba County, San Joaquin County, and Kings County.
A huge thanks to these latest local governments we’ve partnered with for helping to create local jobs and reduce CO2 emissions!
