HERO Program Launches in 40 New California Communities

In the Community
August 31, 2016

We're happy to announce that HERO has launched in 40 additional California communities, making it available to 88% of all households in the Golden State!

To date, nearly 75,000 households have used our leading Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program to finance more than 50 types of water- and energy-efficient home upgrades. Close to 15,000 jobs have been created through our program, bringing with them an economic impact of over $3 billion. As a result of HERO home upgrades, more than 3 million tons of CO2 emissions will be offset and more than 5 and a half billion gallons of water will be saved!

The newest communities we've partnered with include the California cities of Piedmont, Moraga, Amador, Lone, Jackson, Plymouth, Chico, Oroville, Mendota, Orange Cove, San Joaquin, Orland, Ferndale, Fortuna, Bishop, Avenal, Corcoran, Ukiah, Gonzales, San City, Isleton, San Juan Bautista, Lathrop, Grover Beach, Morro Bay, Paso Robles, Colma, Campbell, Dunsmuir, Mount Shasta, Cotati, Live Oak, Wheatland, Corning, Dinuba, Exeter, Farmersville, Lindsay, Moorpark, Piedmont, Moraga, Colma, Campbell, and Cotati.

Thank you to the elected officials who have helped bring HERO to these communities, helping to lower utility bills and improve the quality of life of their residents while creating an energy efficient future.
