Renovate America's HERO financing is expanding to another state! In addition to California and Missouri, HERO financing is now available to Florida homeowners in participating communities.
HERO financing first became available in California in 2012 and is now the largest residential PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) financing option in the United States. So far, HERO has helped over 100,000 homes become more energy-efficient. HERO financed home upgrades have created over 20,000 local jobs and are projected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 4.04 million tons.
Now, this innovative financing option can help homeowners in eligible Florida communities improve their homes as well. In addition to using HERO financing for energy saving upgrades like solar panels and energy-efficient HVAC systems, Florida residents can also finance hurricane protection improvements. This includes eligible products that can protect against wind damage like roofing, windows, and storm shutters. Learn more about how these renovations can improve your home.
Local Florida leaders are looking forward to having more financing options available for their residents, and take note of Renovate America's commitment to consumer protections. "One of the things that sets Renovate America apart – it's leading in the industry for consumer protection," states Shanon Materio, City Commissioner for West Palm Beach District 5.
Dan Clark, a Town Administrator in Lake Clarke Shores, is eager for the launch as well: "We're very excited about Renovate America coming to the state of Florida." Watch what others have to say in this brief video:
It's easy to see why there's so much enthusiasm around HERO financing coming to Florida. Find out if HERO is available where you live by checking the list of participating communities.
