Renovate America Names Patrick Moore Chief Lending Officer

Moore will bring best practices from consumer financial services industry and lead all customer contact, credit-related processes, and lending strategy

SAN DIEGO, June 13 – Renovate America, a leading provider of home improvement financing, announced today that it had appointed Patrick Moore as Chief Lending Officer in addition to his role as President of the company’s licensed lending subsidiary. In the newly created position, Moore will bring best practices from the consumer financial services industry and lead underwriting, lending strategy, and all customer contact operations for Renovate America including HERO Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing.

Moore, who joined Renovate America in August 2015, brings nearly two decades of experience in consumer financial services. Prior to his tenure at Renovate America, Moore served as chief operating officer of Genesis Financial Solutions, a leading  point-of-sale national consumer finance company. Moore also was Chief Operating Officer for Toyota Financial Services bank subsidiary, and held a progression of executive positions in marketing, credit, and operations for the U.S. credit card business at Capital One Financial. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Moore was a pilot and held several operations and engineering roles while serving as an officer between 1992 and 1999.

Since joining Renovate America in 2015, Moore co-developed and launched Benji, the company’s rapidly growing home improvement unsecured credit product. Benji Financing is offered in more than 10 states and will be available nationwide in the third quarter of 2017.

“I’m pleased to have Patrick take on this expanded role,” said Renovate America CEO J.P. McNeill. “Renovate America is positioned to facilitate investment at a national level in residential housing stock efficiency and quality, by offering multiple home improvement financing options through our point-of-sale and online platform. Patrick’s breadth of consumer finance experience and knowledge are a great asset to us as we expand upon our market leadership position in PACE and broaden our suite of financing products.”

“Renovate America has an exciting opportunity to fundamentally change the experience for people investing in their homes by connecting them with quality contractors, empowering them with information and providing efficient financing solutions,” said Moore. “I’m looking forward to working closely with our issuer partners to continue to enhance and strengthen our already industry-leading underwriting and consumer protections.”
